A leaner, faster, more responsive Buxfer
May 30th, 2007 by ShashankIt’s been a while since we posted an update here. Just wanted to say that we’ve been very busy working on exciting new features which should be available very soon on the site.
But, that’s not the point of this post. We quietly released a much faster version of Buxfer a couple days ago. We’ve re-worked a lot of our front-end code. The site should now load faster - “upto 5x faster” to put a marketing spiel on it! We have also made a number of usability improvements to the site which should make the site feel very responsive. The transaction history view has also been heavily re-worked so that users can effortlessly slice and dice through their transactions.
If you experience any minor problems due to this update, please don’t forget to drop us a note - or chat live with us if the founders are online!

Thank you for exciting new feature. We have been using Buxfer for managing our personal accounts and also persuaded my company to use Buxfer for managing petty cashes and reimbursements.
It is great journey so far, please do write to us if you require any development support ( we are a web 2.0 open source company). We will be glad to contribute in this great product

Glad to hear you are using Buxfer for managing your company expenses as well! How is that turning out? Since that’s not our core product offering, I am curious what are the problems you faced while using Buxfer for that purpose.
