Netvibes fans, rejoice! You can now add the Buxfer widget to your Netvibes page. Report your transactions quickly, and get that spicy Buxfer pie-chart telling you all about your expenses.

To add the widget to your Netvibes page, click on this icon:

Of course, since this is an UWA widget (UWA = Universal Widget API), Mac users can also add it to their dashboards. Similarly, iGoogle users can use this widget in place of our native iGoogle widget!

To err is human. To accidentally delete “stuff” is even more human. To make you think before you delete, most software ends up asking the annoying “Are you sure you want to delete this?” pop-up. Problem is, quite often, you realize your mistake only when it is much too late.

The solution we have adopted is to provide an “undo” facility for deletion. Now, you can undelete your transaction any time. Even if your friend accidentally ends up deleting a transaction, you can undelete it and send him a polite note telling him about the mistake!

You can view your “trashed” transactions by clicking on the little “Trash” icon on your Transaction History page.

We hope this keeps the common case (no misunderstandings / mistakes) annoyance-free (no pop-ups) and yet provides an insurance when things go wrong. There are a couple more places where Buxfer needs to provide an “undo” facility - we will add that soon.

Now you can set up “money transfer” transactions between your accounts - for example, when you withdraw money from your ATM. So you can make sure you track money within each account accurately.
