Raj,

As far as I know, Google Gears is not compatible with Safari. So you'd have to wait until either Google starts supporting it, or we release our own browser add-on. The latter won't happen until at least another 3-4 months, since we have several other features prioritized ahead of it.

Of course, if you try Firefox on Mac, you should be able to use this feature without any problems.

Jeenu,

You need to create a financial account for which we support automatic synchronization. Your login credentials will be stored in the Gears DB if you choose to. Buxfer doesn't use Gears to store any other data.

While synchronizing your financial account, be sure to select the 'Save information offline on my computer using Google Gears' checkbox when you login. Thereafter, your login details will be stored in the Gears database.

If you need help with this, please send us an email at support [AT] buxfer [DOT] com

I have Google Gears installed on my PC. I don't see buxfer using it; I mean to say I can't see any mention of Gears inside buxfer account, nor am I able to access it offline. Do I need to make any configurations to make buxfer work with Gears?
