Improved bank support
June 25th, 2008 by AshwinWe have added a few more banks to our list of supported banks.
- ING Direct (USA)
- E*Trade (banking and brokerage)
- TD BankNorth
These have been the banks most requested by our users.
We have also made a few important performance enhancements which should significantly reduce memory consumption. This means much faster uploads and bank synchronizations for our users!
Enjoy! And keep the feedback flowing, as always!
Update: [July 1st, 2008] We have improved our support for Regions Bank, Sun Trust Bank and Citizens Bank. Please check it out and let us know if you still encounter difficulties.

Would love to see Royal Bank (royalbank.com) - the largest bank in Canada. Firebux is great in theory, in practice it’s not working for me :(

Here is another vote for the Royal Bank of Canada.
Thanks for the great site!

Another vote for CapitalOne Credit Cards. I use a local bank (Coastal Federal Credit Union) that does not support Quicken OFX (good for them) Quicken extorts all banks based on number of accounts, not number of accounts that actually use Quiken.
Keep up the good work, I am looking forward to more updates. Do you guys take donations?

Curious about the donations as well, the recent improvements have been nothing short of amazing to my work flow. Thanks!

Hi.. I’m a buxfer user, but yesterday I changed my Google Account password for a harder therefore longer one and the Buxfer login doesn’t allow me to enter such a long password. I ask you to release this character restrain so I can use Buxfer again with a strong password.

@Lilx: we have increased the allowed password length to 40 characters. Hope it will be sufficient :) Please make sure you completely reload the buxfer login page (Ctrl + Shift + R on Firefox)…

I just got Buxfer up & running… so glad I found it. It downloaded just fine, & now two of my accounts says… A password of length > 20 has been specified. If this is indeed correct, please contact support@buxfer.com
Funny thing is the sync for my other two accounts at same institution is working fine???? And I can’t figure out a way to even change my password for my accounts? HELP!!!
thought this issue might be related to you increasing the password length?

By “ING Direct”, do you mean Sharebuilder? I tried creating an account connection, and it wanted a PIN number instead of a password. ??
