The widget is great (and indeed, an ideal use case for a widget). Unfortunately there is an encoding issue somewhere between OSX, the widget, and Buxfer. One of my tags is "privé", and when I use the widget to input a transaction, that tag gets mangled into "priv". It would be good if buxfer could manage to parse various encodings thrown at it. I left a comment on Bruno’s blog. The widget is great (and indeed, an ideal use case for a widget).

I'm thinking of perhaps whipping out one or two companion widgets to track expenses or budgets, but for the moment, this fits my bill. Let's see what happens next.
