The following fee schedule applies to payments:
- Sending money is free
- Receiving money can incur a 1.5 - 2% fee, depending upon the mode of payment:
- Amazon Account Balance - 1.5% + $0.01Once you sign up for an Amazon Payments account, you can keep a balance within that account and use it to make payments. We recommend this mode of payment, since its the cheapest and funds are made available to the recipient instantaneously. Read more about Amazon Account Balance
- Bank account - 2.0% + $0.05Once you verify your bank information with Amazon Payments, you can send and receive money from your bank account. Bank transfers are charged higher fees and require a 5-7 day period before funds are made available to the recipient.
