Your privacy is paramount for us. Here are the steps we take to keep financial information private:
- We do not ask for any personal information from our users except their email addresses. If you choose to login from Yahoo or Facebook, we don't even ask for an email address.
- We do not store any personal information obtained from the Microsoft Money or Quicken files uploaded by our users, or downloaded automatically using Account Synchronization.
- We use the following fields from OFX (or QFX) files:
- TRNTYPE - transaction type
- DTPOSTED - date on which transaction was posted
- DTUSER - date on which transaction was initiated
- TRNAMT - amount of the transaction
- NAME - description
- MEMO - additional description
- CURDEF - currency
- We use the following fields from QIF files:
- D - date on which transaction was posted
- T - transaction amount
- N - check number
- P - description
- M - memo (additional description)
